Run the Stack Check on your own store.

Ten checks that show whether buyers can find your store, whether you can reach the people who visit, and how much of the month the ads are carrying. Most take a few minutes.

  1. 01

    Can the crawlers reach you?

Check robots.txt and your CDN bot settings for Googlebot, GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot. If one is blocked, nothing else on this list matters yet.

  2. 02

Are your best products listed on Google?

In Shopify, open your top five products by revenue and confirm each is published to the Google and YouTube channel. On one store the highest-value products had never been published to it.

  3. 03

    What is actually indexed?

Search Console, Pages report. Open the not indexed reasons and ignore sorted and filtered collection URLs. Look only at pages you want ranking.

  4. 04

    Where are you almost ranking?

Search Console, Performance, Queries. Sort by impressions. Queries in positions 8 to 20 with high impressions are the nearest money.

  5. 05

Do the AI engines name you?

Ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini the three questions your buyers ask. Write down whether you are named, and who is named instead.

  6. 06

How many visitors can you identify?

Compare identified active profiles in Klaviyo with Shopify sessions for the same month. On one store it was about 0.8 percent in the 30 days to August 20, 2026, which starved every email flow.

  7. 07

    Are your flows really sending?

For each flow, compare recipients over the last 30 days with the size of the list it should reach. One store's weekly email sequence showed as live for six weeks and reached 13 people.

  8. 08

    Is your open rate real?

If it is above roughly 50 percent, it is counting machine opens. Judge email on clicks, revenue per recipient and orders instead.

  9. 09

    Which channel really pays?

In Shopify, open Analytics, Reports, Total sales by referrer for a month. Compare it with what each platform claims for the same dates.

  10. 10

How much are the ads carrying?

Add up what paid ads cost you in a month, including anyone you pay to run them, and set it next to the sales they brought in. That ratio is the starting line.

What to do with what you find

If a check turns something up, that is where your traffic is leaking sales. Start with the one nearest the top, because the early checks are the ones where the answer is certain and the fix is known. This is the first stage of The Traffic to Sales Method, and you can see what it found on one store in the case study.
